The Copernicus Climate Change Service is holding its inaugural General Assembly over five days, 6 - 10 March 2017 in Toulouse, France, for providers, users and potential users alike.

Information for attendees

We are delighted that you will be attending the 1st C3S General Assembly.

Below is some useful information about attending the event.

Security requirements

It is important that you keep your ID card, passport or driving licence with you throughout the conference.

On arrival, you will be asked to go through a security post with ID check. On the following days, you will go through security post wearing their badges.

Please be keep your badge visible at all times.

You will be offered the option of luggage storage for the entire conference.

Food

Lunch will be served at Météo-France Meteopole restaurant. Please note that lunches will be at your own charge and that the restaurant does not accept credit card payments.

Parking

It is not possible to park inside Météo-France. However there is a car park just before the main gate (see image on C3S website)
There are about 100 parking spots available.

Access for disabled people

All buildings at Météo-France are accessible to persons with disabilities, within the conference centre there is also a dedicated lift.
In addition, there is one dedicated toilet in both women and men's toilets.

About the General Assembly

The General Assembly will:

  • provide updates on the latest developments to the service;
  • gather and share user requirements and feedback on the service so far and its various proof-of-concept activities;
  • share the knowledge and experience of the current C3S providers across the various components of the Service;
  • facilitate networking and brainstorming sessions for the climate change community in the context of an operational C3S.
